What payment methods are available?

We offer you the forms of payment by:

  • Credit or debit card, where you will be redirected to a third-party dedicated gateway so you can process the payment through their secure platform
  • PayPal, where you will be redirected to PayPal page so you can pay with your account quickly and securely, without sharing financial information
  • Multibanco, where you will be redirected to a third-party dedicated gateway where you can get the entity number, the payment reference and the payment amount information so you can process the payment from online banking or any ATM in Portugal
  • Bank transfer

Is my payment secure?

Online security is very important to Portugal Jewels. At no point do we store any financial information on our servers. We employ trusted and reputable third party payment providers to ensure the security of personal data.

Is VAT applied to International order?

VAT (at 23%) is automatically taken off any orders being delivered outside the EU. This amount has already been deducted from the listed price. Please note that you will be responsible for all duties and taxes incurred in the country of destination.

Are there import charges outside of EU?

Please note that international orders may be subject to customs or import duties and tax charges once they reach their destination country outside of the Portugal. We do not cover this cost so you will be responsible for paying any import charges that may be added. As customs vary from country to country, unfortunately we can’t advise on these charges, and would recommend you contact your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

I have not received an order confirmation e-mail

If you have not received an order confirmation e-mail please e-mail us at info@portugaljewels.com. Most common reasons include you email was misspelled or your payment wasn't confirmed.

Do you gift wrap and can I add a personalized card?

Please let us know you order is a gift by writting a note at Checkout where you can also add a message for the personalized card.

If tou tell us your order is a gift we will:

  • make sure not to include the invoice with price;
  • handwrite your words on a Portugal Jewels card;  
  • All are jewelry comes in an individual box as seen in the product page

Does Portugal Jewels ship internationally?

Yes. Portugal Jewels currently ships to Portugal and worldwide. Prices on the site are shown in Euros, Pounds Sterling and US Dollars.

Does Portugal Jewels offer free shipping?

Portugal Jewels offers free shipping in all orders sent to Portugal. 

Internationally, standard shipping is free in orders above 150€.

How much is shipping? When can I expect my parcel to arrive?

Once the payment is confirmed, the order will be immediately prepared. All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days and sent by carrier.

 Custom duties and taxes

Please consider extra time for your customs check and please note that international orders may be subject to customs or import duties and tax charges once they reach their destination country outside of the Portugal. As customs vary from country to country, unfortunately we can’t advise on these charges, and would recommend you contact your local customs office for more information before placing your order.

The shipping is however dependent on the availability of the items. Items that are not available in stock will be shipped in 1 to 3 weeks.

In all cases when it is not possible to deliver immediately the article, Portugal Jewels will contact you, indicating the new time limit for dispatch and the possibility of reimbursement.

Can I add/amend/cancel my order once it has been placed?

Once you receive the notification that your order is being processed we are unable to make any changes or cancel your orders.

Can my parcel be redirected?

Once orders have been dispatched, we cannot redirect them. Keep this in mind when you share your delivery address with us, as you are expected to sign and receive your order. Should you wish to redirect your parcel, please contact the courier company directly.

Can I access my parcel’s tracking number?

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive your parcel’s tracking number via email.

Returns

Can I return my Portugal Jewels item?

Portugal Jewels is happy to accept returns of items with which you are not satisfied. 

You can return an item within 30 days after receiving your order if the item is found intact and in perfect condition. To proceed with a return, please send an email to info@portugaljewels.com with your order number and item you wish to return.

The refund amount, with the original shipping price, will be processed the same way as the original payment or onto a Portugal Jewels voucher. All sales taxes are included in your refund if your order has been sent to a destination within the EU. Outside the EU, custom duties and sales taxes are non-refundable.

The item should be sent in its original packaging, with proof of purchase. We do not cover the shipping costs of returning an item so you will be responsible for paying them, unless you are returning a faulty item. We advise that all returns are sent by Recorded Delivery, as we are not able to accept responsibility for returns unless signed for by a member of our staff. We will email you upon receipt of your parcel. 

Returns are expected to be processed within 5 working days after your parcel is received.

Can I exchange my Portugal Jewels piece?

If you require a different size or are not satisfied with a product you purchased and want to exchange it for another piece of jewellery, we are happy to offer help. 

You can exchange the item within 30 days after receiving your order if the item is found intact and in perfect condition. To proceed with an exchange, please send an email with your intention to info@portugaljewels.com

Please note that the exchange process requires you to return the item you have purchased and to place a new order with the desired piece of jewelry. The refund amount, with the original shipping price, will be processed the same way as the original payment or onto a Portugal Jewels voucher.  All sales taxes are included in your refund if your order has been sent to a destination within the EU. Outside the EU, custom duties and sales taxes are non-refundable.

My Portugal Jewels item is faulty. How can I exchange it?

We sincerely apologise if you have experienced any fault with your Portugal Jewels jewelry.

You can return the item within 30 days after receiving your order. Please e-mail us at info@portugaljewels.com before returning your item to us, so that our team can advise you of next steps and time frames for a refund or replacement item.

Please note that all items are handcrafted from natural materials and as such their composition and colour may vary slightly from the image shown. There may also be minor variations in actual dimensions and specifications.

I have purchased a Portugal Jewels item from one of your retailers. Can I return it?

Portugal Jewels is represented by a multitude of retailers across Portugal and the World with different returns and repairs policy. Should you wish to return or repair an item which was originally purchased from one of our Portugal Jewels retailers, please contact them directly with your request.
