Marcasite jewels became popular in Portugal in the early 20th century as silver replicas of traditional pieces of Portuguese jewelry from the 18th century. The name Marcasite comes from the natural gem in these jewels.

Silver 925‰ latch back earrings with 1.5cm and 4.8gr. Details in 9Kt gold with 0.4gr. Handmade in Portugal.
