It depends entirely on where your order is going. There are three situations.
No customs charges: deliveries within the EU
If your order is delivered anywhere in the European Union, there are no customs charges, because the parcel never crosses an external border.
This covers Portugal, mainland Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Czechia, Slovenia, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Finland and Ireland.
Already included: United States
For orders delivered to the United States, duties and import taxes are included in the shipping price you pay at checkout. Nothing extra is charged when the parcel is delivered.
Charges may apply: everywhere else
Customs duties and import taxes may be applied by the destination country for orders delivered to:
- The Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla
- The United Kingdom, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein and other European countries outside the EU
- Canada
- All other international destinations, including Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Latin America and Oceania
These charges are set by your country's customs authorities, not by Portugal Jewels. They are outside our control, and they are the customer's responsibility.
How much will it be?
We can't tell you in advance. Rates vary by country and change over time. Your national customs authority is the right place to check current rates for jewelry.
